Navy Lacrosse 2010 opens the Fall Season in Great Fashion !! The 2010 edition of Navy Lacrosse is an outstanding team. The players have bought into Coach Meade's philosophy of playing for the guy next to you and they are playing a fast-paced up-beat style of lacrosse. This is definitely going to be a season to watch. Susan Moran, Marty Brosnan, and Lisa Schroeder are leading the Friends of Navy Lacrosse this year, and if you do not know these three ladies, just stick around - you will !! They are not shy, and they are very passionate. This season is going to be high on teamwork and heavy on fun !! =:-) Their latest post summed up this weekend: If this past Saturday is any indication of what lies ahead for Navy Lacrosse.....then let the season begin!!!! Not only did the team look great, the tailgating was excellent! Many thanks to all of you for a fabulous effort that resulted in an amazing variety of delicious food for all of the boys and their families. A special thank you to our Plebe families who stepped up like pros...it was wonderful to finally meet many of you and we are thrilled to have you join the Navy Lacrosse Family! Next Sunday, October 18th, we plan on tailgating in the same location. The schedule for the tournament is below: Navy welcomes Maryland, Virginia and the U.S. Men's Lacrosse National Training Team which will be split into two competitive squads. Once again, the games will take place at the Naval Academy. Oct. 18 Navy Tournament Schedule Game 1 - 10:00 AM Navy vs. Team USA Blue ................ Rip Miller Field Maryland vs. Team USA White ......... Farragut Field Turf Game 2 - 12:30 PM Navy vs. Virginia .............................. Rip Miller Field Maryland vs. Team USA Blue ................ Farragut Field Turf Game 3 - 3:00 PM Virginia vs. Team USA White .................. Rip Miller Field Once again, a reminder that Annapolis plays host to the Powerboat Show this weekend. Please plan accordingly, as travel in and around the city may be challenging at times.
