Navy CLUB Lacrosse to Play Team Scotland !! How about a "warm up" right now? Team Scotland (led by their inimitable coach - Bob Russell - father of Matt '06, Kevin and Rob) will bring their brand of fiery lacrosse to Rip Miller Field on February 19th at 7 pm. The Navy CLUB Lacrosse team, led by their Officer Rep - LT. Graham - will host the game. Both teams are looking for a "warm-up" about now, and all of us "old schoolers" believe there is no better way to "warm-up" than to use the benches to plow the snow off of Rip Miller Field. It worked for us. It is also a great "team-building" exercise. =:-) So, if you are in the mood for a preview of what you might see from Team Scotland in Manchester this summer - come on out to Rip Miller Field on February 19th, and join the fun. Scottish kilts and single-malts are welcome. Oh wait, the Naval Academy is a military installation, better hold off on the single-malts. Bottled water should be fine. Go Navy !! Buddy Garland '84 |
