NAVYLAX Stewardship Committee Launches Equipment Truck Campaign !!

The Navy Lacrosse team spends a significant amount of money renting trucks to away games.

The trucks are not customized to suit our specific Navy Lacrosse purpose, and the performance is average.

The Navy Football team had the same problem, and the Navy Football Alumni stepped up and purchased an Equipment Truck customized for their purpose (and emblazoned with USNA Football graphics to build recognition and awareness).

It was a brilliant move by the Navy Football Alumni.

NAVYLAX recognized that the Navy Lacrosse team needs a suitable Equipment Truck.

NAVYLAX is conducting a Campaign to purchase an Equipment Truck for the Navy Lacrosse team, similar in style (although sized appropriately) to the Navy Football team truck. This effort is being led by the NAVYLAX Stewardship Committee.

The Navy Football Alumni purchased the truck and donated it to he Federal Government, and now it is tagged and registered as a Government vehicle. That is the plan for the NAVYLAX Equipment Truck.

The Truck will cost about $100,000 including truck, customization for mission, and a planned maintenance program.

Building on two generous "seed" donations, of $1,000 each, we have initiated the campaign and we want to raise this money during the 2010 season.

Any single donation of $10,000 or more qualifies to allow the donor to add the name of a fallen comrade to a memorial plate inside the cab of the truck. - preferably a former Navy Lacrosse player or USNA graduate.
