Block Ordering of Army-Navy Tickets in Ravens Stadium !!

Craig Crumley '74 and Joan Crumley (parents of Ian '12 - #34) have agreed to help organize ordering a block of tickets for the upcoming Army-Navy game to be played on April 17th at Ravens Stadium as part of the Day of Rivals.

Colleagues: players will receive only two tickets gratis for this year's Army-Navy game in Baltimore on Saturday 17 April 2010. (as compared to the usual 4 tickets).

The difference from usual practice with respect to collegiate venues is that the contest is part of the Inside Lacrosse Smartlink Day of Rivals at M&T Stadium. Since our game is sponsored by a commercial organization, and played at a commercial site, NCAA rules limit the value of what can be provided to the players.

The Naval Academy Athletic Association (NAAA) has kindly offered to help us organize a block of seating so that Navy's lacrosse family is together.

Plans include FONL - the player's families and friends - and NAVYLAX.org - alumni and fans of the program - so that we have a solid section to cheer our men on to a star victory.

Ticket costs will be around $20-30 per seat, the same as for other Day of Rivals tickets. (Cost will be dependent upon discounts we might get from the Stadium.)

Since seats in the stadium are assigned, we won't be able to seat the players' tickets immediately next to the NAAA tickets, but will have everyone within a few rows of one another. We will order seats through NAAA, using credit cards, in a couple of weeks; first, however, we need to help NAAA size the block of seats they'll request.

We can't "stick" NAAA with unsold seats - your response is your word that you'll purchase seats.

We may be able to accommodate a few unplanned seats when we open the web site, but do not count on being able to order extra seats later on.

Remember that our players will be provided only two seats, rather than four.
