The purpose of this group is to provide a rallying point for all of the parents and provide a mechanism to engage the parents in supporting the players through tailgaters and visits> ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Dear FONL, HUGE GAME Friday against Georgetown! 7:00 PM at NMCMS. As far as the tailgate, we will be in the grassy area off of Taylor Ave and the trailer will be on site. We are going to try something new at the tailgate site and are asking everyone to park in a very large circle rather than two long lines. This suggestion was made in an effort to provide the opportunity for those attending the tailgate to mingle and chat with everyone rather than just with those parked next to you. We will need to keep the circle large with lots of space in the middle. You can back your car in so the trunk opens to the middle of the circle. We'll try it and see what happens! Look for "smores" in the middle of the circle! The following message is sent from Barbara Hendricks: I am putting together a DVD of this years Lacrosse Season and have hit a 'musical' road block! I am extremely musically challenged when it comes to coming up with titles for good, strong powerful background music suitable for the DVD. Can anybody out there give me any ideas? I am looking for:- Warrior, powerful, gladiator, inspirational, going into Battle, classical type background music. [for instance :-last year I used William Tell Overture, & Peer Gynt-Hall of the Mountain King] Any ideas would be most appreciated.Please email Barbara at bjhendricks297@comcast.net, Senior Parents, please get your 'young' photo to Barbara ASAP. You can email the photo or bring it to Friday's game. Concerning Day of Rivals tickets, Craig Crumley is working on revised guidelines. We understand that you can go to www.navysports.com to order your tickets and in the "remarks" section you will need to indicate your player's name so that the tickets you order will be next to the player "gratis" tickets. If you know of any former Navy lacrosse players that are currently deployed, please send their mailing address to me so that Captain Thorp can arrange to have a care package sent to them. This will be accomplished through John Collette, (brother of Mike Collette, USNA Class of '09) and the Bucknell lacrosse team who have begun an effort to support former lacrosse players from Navy, Army and Air Force who are now deployed.
