Navy Lacrosse ... a winning tradition!
We are committed to the excellence of Navy Lacrosse as it contributes to the development of midshipmen, the reputation of the Naval Academy, and the ability to field a winning lacrosse team.
Our group is comprised of former Navy Lacrosse players (varsity, JV, club, batt-lax), other lacrosse players who attended USNA, Navy coaches, parents, alumni and other supporters of the Navy Lacrosse program.
We value the honor, integrity and competitive spirit of the game of lacrosse, and we believe lacrosse serves an important role in the development of the current midshipmen.
NAVYLAX has four main mission areas:
Membership ,
Stewardship ,
Recognition and
Service . These areas are all facilitated
by Communication. Folks must be
aware that there is an opportunity to support the Navy Lacrosse team and
the Naval Academy before they can feel inclined to do so. All four mission
areas are focused on making people aware of the opportunity and then encouraging
them to join us in our efforts to support the Navy Lacrosse team
and the Naval Academy.

How can you get involved?
NAVYLAX recently funded an effort by the
Naval Academy Foundation to build, name, and outfit the Navy
Lacrosse Hall of Fame. We raised approx. $4.5 M for this effort. It is truly a first-class facility. The Ribbon Cutting was April 13, 2007. There are ongoing needs for funding to maintain the quality of this museum-quality Hall of Fame.Tim Wolf '87
is the Major Gifts Officer at the Foundation who is handling the financial
stewardship for the funds that are raised in this effort. You can
download a pledge form, or if you prefer a one-time donation, then you
can print the pledge form and simply mail a check to the address on the
form.
We have already raised $4.5 M (as of 1/1/08). We contacted most former lacrosse players in a canvassing effort during 2006 and 2007, but there are many supporters (possibly you) who are not on that canvassing list. We invite you to download the form and make a donation, if you feel that Coach Meade's vision is worthwhile, and if you believe that there should be a suitable venue to document the accomplishments of the Navy Lacrosse team over the decades.
Go Navy !!
